Secure the Network Perimeter and Traffic

  • Use Business-Grade Firewalls: Replace standard ISP modems/routers with dedicated hardware firewalls to inspect incoming and outgoing traffic.

Plan for Growth and Compliance

  • Standardize Hardware: Use consistent, business-grade networking equipment (like Cisco, Ubiquiti, or Aruba) rather than consumer-grade gear to ensure stability and centralized management.
  • Document Network Architecture: Maintain updated network topology diagrams, IP address maps, and vendor contact details to speed up troubleshooting.
